#13 Swamped by emails? Use rules!

Daily emails can be a little overwhelming at times, but using simple Outlook rules can reduce some of the pain!

Rules can be used to do all sorts of fancy things, but we’ll start off easy.

In the following 30 second video we demonstrate how to set up an email rule so that all emails with certain words in their subject line get automatically moved to a separate folder. This is really useful if you are signed up to mailing lists or newsletters, or you want to keep emails relating to projects or meetings separate.

There’s no audio on this one, so safe to watch in a busy office.
