#94 Compress your images to shrink your Word documents!

If you need to email  or upload a Word document (or PowerPoint) and it is just too large, try compressing the images to shrink the size of your file.

This is also a useful tip to share with students if they are uploading via Turnitin. Documents can quickly swell up if there are lots of scanned appendices within them. Compressing the images should help bring them back to size.

This tip isn’t limited to Word, you can do this in PowerPoint too!
