#139 Moodle Groups [1/2]: Setting up your groups

Moodle groups gives you a quick and easy way to work with different sets of students in Moodle. If you want to send different announcements to different tutor groups, get students to submit work in groups, distribute marking amongst colleagues or restrict access to certain content, then Moodle groups is your new best friend!

There are two steps to using groups in Moodle, the first is setting the group up and the second is assigning your groups to a grouping. The second installment will be coming up shortly, so keep an eye out.
