#166 Need to combine columns in Excel? No problem!

Sometimes the data we get in Excel is not quite in the format that we need it, for example you might have a column of first names and a column of second names but for your purposes you need their full name, for a mail merge for example.

You might also want to combine some of the data that you have with some new data, to create email addresses perhaps or add international dialing codes to phone numbers.

Whatever you need to combine, there is a really easy way to do this in Excel:
