#514 Compress video with Handbrake

A strange name but a useful tool. Handbrake is a free utility that you can download to help you compress video into manageable sizes. So if you need to reduce video size for email or to upload to Moodle perhaps you can use Handbrake to reduce the size.

This video demonstrates reducing a file from 120 MB down to 16MB and down to 2.5MB and the video is still of usable quality. Depending on your need you can adjust to suit. The great thing is you don’t need any technical knowledge as the application has lots of selectable recipes you can choose.
